Nice little drone.no.(read more)

I have flown many drones from other companies of different types, sizes and prices. Didn't know this company, decided to leave. In their description they claim to be an American company which implies that the drones are made in the USA. No, they are made in China. Good strong magnetic lockable box. Can act as regular storage. This is a rebranded MJX Bugs 7 / Holy Stone Drone HS510. It's almost double the price of the two, plus these 2 come with 2 or 3 batteries, and the HS510 comes in a nice case. How can you justify $300? The instructions are mostly quite good and well written. I found a few bugs, but nothing major. The first flight. Not impressed. Poor posture. I've played on the toilet a few times and once it started it was hard to control. It just didn't work well with the GPS capabilities. I contacted support and got a response very quickly. It was discovered that the first unit had the most faulty GPS module (I know this can happen). So they sent a new replacement drone. I have to say this is the best customer service I have ever experienced from a drone company! Thanks for that. So with a new drone. Completely different experience. It was actually pretty windy when I tested it, but it was one of the few frosty days we had, so I went anyway. Good powerful brushless motors that coped surprisingly well with the wind, especially in 2nd gear. This is a really small and light drone (less than 250g) which has the advantage of not needing to be registered with the FAA. With its specs (good brushless motors, GPS, decent camera) this is a really good little drone. Flying is a pleasure. Very responsive. Takes good photos, although I don't like the wide-angle FOV, which tends to produce "round" images. What's wrong is a good video drone. There's no image stabilization, so it's difficult to get smooth video. The camera is only manually adjusted up and down before flying. I don't recommend it for windy days. He's just not made for that. I'm giving it a generous 4 stars mostly because of the great customer service and it's a decent drone that flies well, handles well and is just plain fun to fly! (I think it's too expensive!)
