I'm glad I did! This works very well. I love the temperature control. It reaches temperature very quickly. Straightens my thick hair quickly. It curls up well too. As with any hot iron, be sure to use a good heat protectant spray. I use pedestal. I have colored hair and with the help of a flat iron and spray my dry and damaged hair becomes soft and silky.
