I was looking for 5 1/4" HT speakers because I had an area with very narrow gaps - particularly low in the ceiling. All other 8 ohm ceiling speakers I found depths here starting with 3+" and going up from there. When I found a Theater Solutions TS50C (5 1/4" high, 2.25" 2-way, white grilles) with these specs (on their website), I knew I had found speakers for my applications. I was suspicious and worried about how cheap they were. I always try to buy the highest quality so I don't get "buyer's regrets" and suddenly start justifying the price of this most expensive model. But as soon as I received these speakers it became clear that the quality far outweighed the low price. That looks like a pricing error. Ha ha. And Prime Delivery sealed the deal. First, the packaging reminds me of how Apple packages its products. Very protective and professional looking. Second, the design of the product is top notch and makes installation easy: use a countersunk hole saw to drill a 6 7/8" diameter hole, connect 2 wires and tighten 4 screws. That's all! And finally, the sound is amazing. are crisp and clean and can actually pull some power without limit. Sure, if you have room for a 7-10" hole and 3-5" at the top, expensive, high-end 6 1/2" or 8" speakers might do the trick, but if you have the Reach quality this TS50C with a decent subwoofer you will be totally surprised and satisfied with this purchase. I bought two sets.
