But the leaf spring compressor eventually broke (say from a rough shave) so I bought a silver model which appeared to be the same but was now made in China. It turned out to be a vibrating, noisy piece of junk that felt like I was letting my calm run down my face. Then I saw this model - it's made in the USA again (with some third-party components), smooth finish, very quiet, and a lithium battery that I've only charged once since I got it last month. Very satisfied.
