Down and an alternative way to add fragrance

if you research. Fabric softener isn't recommended for a lot of new fabric blends (that I buy) so I looked for a good alternative. I bought these dryer balls to reduce wrinkles, they worked fine. Now I want to fill my laundry with fresh scents. My plan is to freshen up my towels and linens with a few drops of essential oil. Will try next boot
