Review on 🌢️ Kamenstein Nottingham Pepper Grinder Review: 4.5-inch Wood Grain Grinder Explained by Libby Walker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great little size, best in pepper grinders

While I'll admit that this grinder isn't of the highest quality, it fits perfectly on the small shelves in our kitchen and I'm perfectly happy with it functionally . What I don't like so much: It's quite light, which makes it look rather cheap. It's definitely not a thick, nice, sturdy piece of wood. It's not made perfectly either. The decorative notch (sorry, probably the wrong word) in the wood around the base of my grinder was heavily soiled, so if you look closely you can see the line where the stain ends in the notch. instead of being cracked like it should be. I have attached an image for reference. What I like: The size is great if you need a small grinder. Slightly taller than a standard spice jar. The price is reasonable. And until I read the comments on the paragraph, I had no idea that the top knob on coffee grinders sets the grind, and that was a game changer for me. I can finally use pepper when cooking for my kids and I have nothing to complain about because this little grinder can grind it into powder. I guess this is a trait of all grinders of this style, not just this one but I just had to mention it in case anyone else doesn't know this fun fact!
