I have a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer and my key ring broke so I had it repaired. You have to break the old key out of the old key fob. Then screw in this new one, everything went perfectly. The only problem I had was that when I put the key back into the case with all the parts, it was so tight that it kept pressing on the trunk and panic button. To fix this I sanded down the backs of the buttons so there was more room to press the button. After that it worked great. If you know how to fix things, then this is a good and inexpensive option.
