I wanted something loose and comfortable that I could wear as a house dress. I should have bought L or even M. This thing stretched so much while I was wearing it. It's gotten a lot longer and very, very big. I'll put it in the dryer to see if I can shrink it. I have bought other dresses from this company and the fabric was different - less saggy.
