Review on Apple Barrel Gloss Acrylic Paint (8 oz) in Assorted Colors - Discover 20408 Gloss White! by Morgan Gilmore

I've been very disappointed with the Apple Barrel lately. I don't know what's up with the QUALITY of their paint. It has changed in the last 6 months or so. A smooth, bright glossy color has turned into a matt, clumpy glossy color. It no longer mixes with other colors and sometimes has a terrible smell. Every once in a while I get a nice bottle which I was really hoping for when I ordered from Revain but all 3 bottles I've opened so far are all CLAMP. Pooh! I can't use this for the technique I bought it for. It's really terrible. I will contact Apple Barrel regarding this. I don't know why the consistency, quality and smell have changed. Such a shame! just so you know The clumping/thickness/dullness problem is related to black. WHITE looks the same. RED is good but sometimes has a TOXIC smell that didn't exist about a year ago. So I will definitely contact them about this. I've been using them for over 12 years! I never had this problem until last year.
