I bought the little Housmile before I bought the iRobot to see if I would like it. Well, I loved it. I thought that the iRobot would be better because it would go back to the port and I wouldn't have to find it. Was I wrong! The iRobot gets stuck all the time, doesn't go back to port and is so loud it sounds like a burgler in the house. I bought a second Housmile! I let one take care of the office/workroom (where the bird is, feathers and seeds) and one for my master bedroom. I have the iRobot in the great room, but it is sooo annoying and loud, I only run it when I am gone and never know if it will complete the job. I find myself pulling the "little guys" out of their rooms and letting them loose in the great room. Even with two of them they are quieter than the iRobot and less banging into things. Yes, they occasionally leave little fur ball "poops" (little wads of dog fur) when I don't vacuum enough, but they are easy to pick up and toss. The Housemile are so easy to clean, unlike the iRobot that has hair wrapped around the rolllers and are awful to clean! The Housmile also go under my furniture a lot easier than the iRobot. For the difference in the price, I recommend just buying a couple Housemile and saving your money!
