I was getting ready for my daughter's wedding rehearsal when I discovered my CO2 regulator was leaking. No! Liters of homemade beer are in danger! I had two days to find a replacement (and fill up the tank), so I researched options for the Prime. I try to avoid having what appears to be the same item being sold by multiple retailers as this is usually a sign that you are receiving a lower quality item. I ignored the voice in my head and bought these anyway because they looked ok and I needed them fast. Big mistake. On the day of the rehearsal, I found that the safety valve was defective. I ended up hastily putting together parts from the new and old regulator and managed to get through the batch without CO2. I didn't try to return the regulator because the replacement parts chewed up the soft chrome, and I had already decided to order a proprietary regulator. Avoid it and get a brand name.
