Fire hazard, poor quality, poor workmanship

The extension cord I received broke the switch when I plugged it in. As an electrical engineer, I took it apart to see why. The neutral wire was not properly soldered (cold soldered) and has come loose from the hot extension. I resoldered it and now the strip works but I wouldn't recommend buying it. When disassembling I also attached a few wires with broken compression insulation between the two halves of the plastic mold. That's awful.
