I ordered these nose studs because I was tired of buying cheap ones and changing the color of the metal. They are made of gold plated sterling silver and are beautiful. Exactly as shown in the description picture. I will say if you need a very small bobby pin that is almost invisible, this is ideal. But if you want a small but noticeable bobby pin I would go a size or two bigger than the ones I bought. I am very happy with them and plan to buy a slightly larger size so I have a choice of what to wear.
