Review on πŸ”Œ Impala/Monte Carlo 2006 and Up: Metra 70-2105 Radio Wiring Harness - Enhance Your Audio Experience Safely by Brian Warmack

Fuzzy packaging, may not be a Metra product as advertised

The wiring harness sent to me is the "correct" wiring harness as it fits my car and works, but I doubt it is. actually chassis brand Metra. It was shipped in a padded envelope with no packaging or Metra instructions. Luckily, I've been a professional installer for 20 years and know exactly what to do with the loose "accessory" wire that comes with the wiring harness. A beginner may scratch their head as there were no instructions. My feeling that this is not a genuine part of the Metra brand is due to the fact that the wires are not the same gauge or type of insulation that Metra have used for years. Also, the plastic used for the seat belts is of cheaper quality than the typical Metra. In general I will use this and am sure it will be good for my application.
