Very good impressions, the first pictures can be viewed at and Photos without processing. Straight from camera JPEG/ using whale and jupiter, some with manual focus. Has pros: matrix, high resolution screen, photos with high detail, good video, control and ergonomics. Very well assembled, there is not even a backlash in the card compartment like in the d3100 and d5100, the battery is more than 500 frames. Has cons: Considering the price of the 690S (Purchased in Europe), I did not find any significant shortcomings.
