I bought this to give my brother for Christmas as a 'funny' gift as he attends formal dinners but hates tying his ties. When he tried it only one side of the clamp worked / the other side was broken and crooked. Upon inspection, it was clear that this was a weak design. Still I wanted him to have a tie so I asked for a replacement and the request was ignored by the company. We got a refund but they didn't replace it. Will keep looking for something better.
