Actually I only give it 4.5 stars because when it's off the light is off so you have to look at it a few times to understand that it really is over . digital temperature display as both are bright red. IMO I would prefer that the shutdown light is either off or the temp light is a different color like green. Also, it's perfect for my short hair. I also like the very long and thick power cord.
