You get what you pay for. This device is a bit skimpy, but the RJ-45 ports - at least on the back - are picky about the ports accept. Many RJ-45 plugs had to be re-mated to fit the ports. The ports are made of brittle plastic and can sometimes snap from this movement. The manufacturer seems to have prepared two spare plugs for this - so I had to replace the spare parts however, poor quality remains and I expect problems in the long term. I wish I had bought a branded patch panel. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't top shelf either. Not ready for premiere time, exactly. I use it at home. If it does was at work i would replace it buyer be careful.
