I used this heatsink to build a linear regulated power supply that needs to dissipate about 60 watts of excess heat from the MOSFETs. According to my calculations, it turned out that when using thermal paste and a 70mm 12V fan, the thermal resistance of the radiator was 0.5 degrees C / W. It's important to note that the heatsink is aluminum and not anodized, making it very conductive. It was good for my scheme. I tapped the heatsink and screwed in all the MOSFET drains to effectively place them in parallel. I'll probably buy more of these heatsinks for future (and hopefully more energy efficient) projects.
