I've only had it a few days. I was replacing an old Dell XPS13 - I like to carry around a light, compact laptop. The size is exactly what I expected. It's a little thicker than my 10 year old XPS 13, but I'm thicker than I was 10 years ago. Nothing impressive - not like a full fledged laptop with CD drive etc. Screen is ok - doesn't seem as bright compared to my Surface Book but so far so good. Haven't tried using it in full sunlight yet, which I've heard can be an issue, but it applies to most things. Touch also seems to be responsive. Camping mode or tablet mode works fine. The hinge wobbles a bit when moving, which is good but feels solid. In terms of performance, it works great. I mostly installed software but the network connection was solid, the SSD is great and it's just really responsive. I haven't invested too much in it, but GIMP and Visual Studio seem to be fine. The only downside mentioned in other reviews is the sound. The speakers are located on the bottom of the device. If you put it in tent mode to watch something, chances are the sound will (mostly) be projected onto you. It's still very comfortable, but depending on where you install it, the material, etc., it can be muted. It doesn't bother me if I put on headphones when using it, but while it offers Harmon Kardon sound, the design negates any "premium" perks. It's like buying a Monet and then putting it in a room with no light. The built-in webcam seems to be of poor quality. The video of it wasn't that good and it felt like it was around 15 frames per second. Again, standing in front of the camera doesn't help the video image, but if you're doing a lot of zooming etc, this could be a problem for you. want to use a Microsoft account to sign in, which isn't the case with this laptop, but it would be easier to not connect it to the wireless network, set up a local account, and then connect it to the network. By putting it online first, there was no way to skip the Microsoft account requirement.
