Does NOT lay flat well for industrial gear

As some other reviewers have pointed out, the chain does not lay flat. When fully extended, one end is folded over the other a few inches. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a good cable holder. I bought this for my laser cutter but I will probably have to buy another one.
