Not practical for styling your own hair, especially if it is below shoulder length. Imagine trying to target and manipulate your regular hair dryer with this large attachment that will increase the length and width of your hair dryer while styling the back or top of your hair! My arms aren't long enough to get the angle I need to work with this attachment - after just one use I developed neck pain that I'm still struggling with a week later. This product would work great if someone else did the styling, but it's just not ergonomic to use with my own short to medium length hair. I just bought a new Bed Head Curls in Check Hair Dryer/Diffuser which is shaped more like a hand mirror and requires no acrobatic tricks to use.
