I've only recently gotten into Beyblades so I'm not an expert, but I'd like to make a few comments for parents who may not know much about it. Beyblades are divided into 4 types: Defense, Attack, Endurance, and Remnants. The first 3 have a rock-paper-scissors relationship, so Defense > Attack > Endurance > Defense. The set contains 1 attack and 1 defense Beyblade. Protective (green) usually wins from what I've found. If you are buying this to share between siblings you may need 1 or 2 different types of supplements to avoid disappointment. It's still some skill to launch, so it's not possible to win with the attack type. Beyblades in this set rotate both clockwise and right. To start a properly spinning Beyblade, first insert the cord into the launcher on the side marked "R". Then guide the launcher's prongs into the center of the "C" shaped grooves on the top of the Beyblade. Finally, rotate the Beyblade counterclockwise or to the left to lock it in the launcher (the launcher's pin should touch the top or bottom of the "C" shaped groove, depending on which side you're looking from). Then just pull the cable and it should start. You can also connect the launchers together to launch 2 at the same time with 1 tether. will be perfect. The plastic is thin and there are some imperfections on the surface of the bowl. Mine doesn't seem to have a huge impact on performance, so I haven't had any issues with them. I liked its walled aspect. It seems that it is impossible for them to fly out of the ring. There is a flat edge on the outside, so it's cool to see a whip go around the edge and then fall into the bowl. The launchers aren't as good as the ones I got from Walmart's only Beyblade bundle, but they work really well. I have a feeling the launcher's bad reviews are probably from people who haven't read the instructions. I also wanted to point out that the tips don't have a mode change like Walmart, but they are better than my Walmart, so maybe that's a good thing. The bowl isn't symmetrical either, from several episodes of the show I've seen most bowls are symmetrical. It works well on countertops and carpets. I really like the movement that the hourglass shape creates for the beyblade. Overall, this is probably a good Beyblade starter kit, but I probably wouldn't take it for people who already have and/or are building a stadium.
