I like the idea of the organizer, but I don't think it was well made. This organizer requires assembly and showed up in a box as a bunch of connectors and sides. I'm usually pretty good at putting together furniture, but this has to be one of the more annoying one to put together. The instructions are not good and fail to mention that 6 of the connectors should be used as the legs of the organizer, so if you follow the instructions exactly, you'll end up having to redo the bottom pieces. Assembly took me several hours spread over two days because of how frustrated I was. It comes with the required parts, a hook, and a plastic hammer. I'm completely baffled as to the purpose of the hammer because it is absolutely useless and will probably save it as a toy for my nephews to play with.The organizer is basically a cube of plastic. Each piece except for the doors have metal frames with very easily chipped off paint. The plastic seems kind of flimsy and a few pieces came damaged. While assembling/ reassembling it because of the poor instructions, two of the plastic connectors broke. I'm suspicious of how long this product will actually last. Also, even with the pieces assembled, there were lots of gaps between the tops and sides, so it won't completely keep your shoes clean from dust.Each unit is approximately 15.5" wide and 11.5" in depth. If your shoes are much longer than that you would have to put them in sideways. Otherwise, they should be able to fit 2-4 shoes per unit depending on if you use the partition or not.The good part is that this organizer is customizable in the sense that you can change the partition on the inside so the height of the cube is either 12" or just a little under 6". If you buy multiple boxes, you can make this as high or as wide as you want, which is nice if you have a lot of shoes or a lot of people in the household. It'll also be easy to wipe off because it is made out of plastic. It's also very lightweight and easy to move around by yourself.
