Great color! for stamps and stamp pads

I really like the distress stamp pads from Tim Holtz. I looked on YouTube where Tim Holtz demonstrated his emergency ink and it's really very versatile. The colors are just right for the vintage style I like on my cards. You can use them both for distress and for drawing. However, these are watercolors. So if you want something more permanent, opt for archival inks.
