These hubs are fantastic. I had about 120,000 miles on my 2004 Scion xB in 2012 and they needed new rear hubs because they were so noisy. The drive to Los Angeles was unbearable for my ears, they actually hurt so much that you had to wear hearing protection or open windows to let the sound out. After reading some forum suggestions from ClubXB and Scion Life I chose these HA594245 axle box and hub assemblies as a replacement. Revain shipped them quickly and I installed them that same evening. Took me about an hour for both sides (I worked quickly, it was cold outside). Comparing the old with the new was night and day. They twisted the old ones and twisted, but with great resistance. Still smooth enough not to make any grinding noises, but obviously it was something that would eventually fail, maybe another 20,000 miles later. At least that's how we know that Japanese car wheel bearings last forever, even if they make noise. As for the new ones, I've driven about 27,000 miles since they were replaced and they work fantastic. Lots of trips to Los Angeles through Northern California, not a single look. I have no doubt these AISIN OEM Timken bushings will last another 100,000 beyond what I have. The price is right too. I'll take another set as a spare!
