Good rims at a good price

I have these rims on a Giant Delfy Advanced so now my whole bike is carbon. These rims are well built and come with everything you need to fit the wheelset to your bike. You'll need a new cartridge, or I suppose you could use an old one. In my case, I completely redid the gearbox except for the rear derailleur. They come with a spacer for those looking to install the 10 speed cassette I use. The threaded bushings on it are probably not the best, but they work fine. The build quality is sold and they look great on my ride. My drive is now full Ultegra, with a compact dual drive 50/34 front and 12-30 rear. With these wheels and a new gearbox, my old Gaint drives like a sports car. Great upgrade! One final note: I have an 80mm pipe for them, but I think you can get away with a 60mm pipe. This set also comes with simple pipe extensions which I didn't use. Keep in mind that they don't have the same quality as the more expensive carbon wheel options and can result in a shorter lifespan. Rim product of failure will eventually bite into the carbon at rim cracks, and severe downhill failure can damage rims. If you go this route, be sure to stick with the same carbon brake pads that come with the wheels and don't use Shimano pads with a narrower braking surface. Also make sure the stickers are completely removed from the crease area before riding. Ideally, it is best to use carbon discs. with a broken window. Later I also bought a wheel set from Yoelio with aluminum rims and carbon profiles. Alloy-carbon doesn't offer as much weight advantage as full carbon, but the boom advantage is still there while maintaining durability.
