I needed these magnets to hold a 3-5lb bag of assorted screws. The bag weight is about 4 lbs. Currently the bag has nothing in it except a few small boxes of screws and a small tape measure. The weight is too much and the magnet slides down the side of the metal tool chest. I tried the same thing on a tool cabinet with the same result. I tried ligher items with some success but not much.I tried a last time hanging from something and it stuck until I touched it and then fell.In small writing in the image, it is listed that it will hold up to 22lbs with very thick metal with the magnets suspended. Pretty much no one is going to have this exact situation and while not paying much attention to that as it wasn't posted else where that I saw in the ad, I assumed a few lbs should be fine. Nope.Don't expect much other than very light weight things like I posted. Disappointed as I had a specific need for these and would have bought from another vendor otherwise.THESE ARE EASY TO PULL APART AND NOT ANY STRONGER THAN ANY OTHER MAGNETS.
