I've just unpacked this and I can already tell how cheap the materials are. Bad plastic and I'm not even sure if the pot is real glass! Heats up quickly, but auto shut off takes time. It eventually passed out on its own, but it probably should have happened much sooner. As in every other review, the lid doesn't stick to the spout, so boiling water sloshes everywhere. Be careful! I put some thick tape on the lid to hold it in place while pouring as the top gets too hot to touch so hopefully that helps. I just want to boil water, nothing fancy and it works, but the lack of safety in the lid is an issue.
