Review on Revolutionary New Balance Running Shoes for Women - Aluminum Glacier Unleashed! by Andres Black

I love them with a passion

I am an intermediate level runner, a former track and cross country runner, I run an average of 50-60 miles per week and run 5K to ultramarathons. I'm just saying this to prove that I like to think I know my shoes. And I know that this review is just my opinion and that there is a perfect shoe for everyone - it might not be yours but oh my god it's mine! I've worn Brooks Ghost and Launch for years and then started wearing Hoka Cliftons for long runs and recovery runs when doing more focused workouts. I usually find a shoe that works and then wear it religiously until they change it enough that I have to try something new, or I get injured and the shoe seems bad to me (slightly superstitious). I was late with new shoes and wanted to buy Clifton, but something made me do a little research and broaden my horizons. So I started looking around and came across the New Balance Vongo. I've been wearing neutral shoes for years so I was very hesitant to buy a stability shoe but I've read that they tend to be on the neutral end of stability if there is one. Anyway, with the price <$100 I tried it because why not. It's been about 2 months since I wear them on almost every run and oh my god I feel like I've pushed my limits. I recently ordered a second pair to have in reserve when my current pair wears out and I'm tempted to stock up on about 100 more pairs so I know I'll have them for the rest of my life. The sock/knit lining is snug and keeps my foot in place so I don't have chafing or hot spots. They are so comfortable, they are like an extension of my leg. The foam is responsive and lightweight, making them great for tempo and interval training as well as long runs. The grip is great and I actually prefer using them for trail running to my custom Salomon shoes. The only downside to these shoes (literally the ONLY downside) is that rocks get stuck in the tread more often than any of my other running shoes. TLDR: These shoes rock.
