Ever since I started wearing shoes barefoot, I've been amazed at how much more comfortable it is to have a smaller sole with no arch (for me). without laces, sandals, to them. The lace-up version conforms more closely to my foot contour and doesn't sag when I have to make jerky movements. They fit like a glove. The tread is ideally thicker and good for my professional cycling and cooking jobs. I punctured the soles of my other sandals while cycling. My wife loves the way they look on my feet.
