Review on πŸ’§ Waterpik HOS-960M Ultra-Flexible 96-inch Metal Shower Hose - Chrome, 8ft Replacement Solution by Donald Waller

nope I will keep trying because I need a long hose to wash the dog but. Fur!

Ends over 3/4" - more like 7/8" or more. So they don't quite match our existing shower holder. First hit. Ironically, the small piece of yellow tape on the hose is very specific for attaching the barbed end to the shower head and the longer plain end to the faucet. It didn't fit. If you look at the BACK of the package it says to fit it like this then check if it fits the shower holder and if it doesn't fit swap it out. <Insert extreme eye roll here> Short barbed end Barely fits in our existing shower holder but I don't trust it very much. And then. Second Strike. Then there is a leak. Having tried BOTH ends, I know BOTH ends are leaking. The washers were in the tube and extras were in the package. To try and crack a leaking, tighter solution, I tried two flat washers (to give the threads more room to compress since the socket itself is quite long on both ends). As expected it didn't work. It was worth a try as I had lots of washers and no teflon tape. I'll try white teflon tubing next, although the instructions say it's not necessary. Replace the black washers from my old hose as this hose did not leak. (The ones that come with Waterpik seem pretty stiff, and as mentioned, they're a bit flimsy for the amount of yarn I'm working with.) The funniest thing about Waterpik stuff is that I've always had trouble with it. it. Generic unnamed plumbing products on Revain are usually in perfect order. (e.g. I'm a HUGE fan of the flow restrictors I bought. B07RLWY6QR Life changing!) Fancy Waterpik branded packaging? Fur!
