I was looking for a way to shoot with a GoPro while mountain biking or road biking and was a bit skeptical about handlebar/seat mounts as most mount reviews complained about constant vibration and video shake. Another problem was that the supposedly more secure mounts only fit larger handlebar diameters, not the smaller ones that most bikes have. Only 6 or 7 reviews so far. Because of this low number of reviews, I was concerned that they might have been fabricated to appear to be a reliable product. I decided to take the risk anyway, and luckily I did. Not only is this device solidly built, but it's also engineered to be virtually immobile no matter what terrain you're traversing. The screw holding the pivot ball can be turned tight enough to prevent any movement. You can rotate the sphere 360 degrees. So if you want to shoot yourself and not what's in front of you or in a different direction, it's as easy as unscrewing a ballscrew. There is no need to remove the entire assembly from the bike to move it for different shooting angles. I've ridden curbs and singletrack in the woods for two hours and it hasn't deteriorated an iota. The same applies to the clamp on the steering wheel. What makes it truly unique is that it supports a wide range of nozzle diameters and can be removed and reinstalled in minutes with no tools other than your hands. You can attach any camera/video recorder with the standard screw mount, giving you even more flexibility of use.
