Review on Show Chrome Accessories 41 180 Antenna by Jeff Sprunk

It's short and works - like

Edit 9/6/17: Standard antenna sent back. I removed the top protective cap, cut 12 inches off the top and put the cap back on. Riding the shortened canopy turned out to be a disappointment. The stations I normally get were often marginal at best. Shortening the factory antenna has proven its worth. to be the best compromise between hassle and reception. I'm tired of stabbing myself in the garage or tucking/loosening the tip under the top box cover. Used to replace the stock antenna on a 2017 Indian Roadmaster. Although it seems like a big improvement in length, not sure about the aesthetics. Installation was simple enough: lay the original antenna horizontally and use a wrench to remove it. Replace it with a new antenna and keep the original piece of rubber that sets the angle (although it's not necessary - and should be left if you want to set it to 90 instead of 45). The screw that came with the new antenna fitted perfectly. The whole process took about 5 minutes, three of which I spent looking for the key. The reception seems to be the same, but I can't really make phone calls because the stations I'm listening to are pretty strong in my area. Just a note: I'm wondering if I should have just cut the stock antenna to the correct length. The cover is removable, it is a standard whip antenna. I will do this and edit my review later.
