The bird loves it; a healthier alternative to caique seeds that will NOT adapt to a grainy diet!
Using Harrison Bird Breads is the only way to get your Caique to eat anything other than seeds. I pre-soak a large batch of nut-flavored granules, then add mash, chopped beets, carrots, peppers, and a LIGHT BIT of the seed mix to the batter. He eats everything and tells me when he wants more! The mix is quite expensive, but it makes a good sized loaf that will keep for a couple of weeks. Still, it's not cheap. . .
