Have been using these bags for a few years now. They're thin so they're easy to manipulate, but not too thin. They are affordable, although not the cheapest. They're big enough to put away after my weight of 50 pounds. lab mix. Problems: 1) The Dogipot website doesn't say anything else about the biodegradability of the bags, so I started using them. However, there is an article on their website explaining why they cannot make this claim due to an FTC rule[.] and it appears that the packages contain an additive that will help them break down but is not guaranteed that they will decompose. Now I feel better by continuing to buy them. 2) Sometimes packages don't tear easily. (They're wrapped around a cardboard tube.) Sometimes - once or twice every few boxes - they tear vertically when ripped. 3) In winter, when the air in the house is dry, it is difficult to open it. I always open them in advance so I don't try to do it in the cold. 4) If they are not used for about a year, they will start to deteriorate and crack easily. Don't stock up too far in advance.
