I always like to start positively. The system worked very well, filtering out iron and manganese from my well water, which was exactly what I needed. And yes, despite some issues, I would buy it again. Now the rest of the story. When I received the first one, the entire 3rd canister and iron/manganese filter cartridge were missing from the packaging. As it comes with 3 canister heads pre-assembled and attached to the bracket, it was not possible to connect just part of them. Revain took care of it immediately with a phone call. (Great work, Revane, as always!). When I received and connected the new system, everything was very simple. I'm a homeowner and I'm not afraid to adopt. I already had a whole house sediment filter installed (the 0.5 and 1.0 micron filters removed most of my reddish color) which I will continue to use. But I still had issues with appliance and laundry discoloration, forcing me to add the iSpring system. But I digress, when I installed and pressurized the system I had a serious leak at the top of the 1 block canister head. I changed heads with the first system which I haven't returned yet and it was worse. Two of them leaked. Upon closer inspection, I found that these weren't actually canister heads per se, but rather a red push-button safety valve used to relieve pressure when changing filters. This time I called iSpring and spoke to a very nice gentleman who told me that relief valves sometimes come loose during shipping and that all I have to do is tighten the Phillips head screw on the bottom to easily fix the problem. Here they went from 4 or 5 stars to 2. He had Johnny on site with the fix so I could know it was a known issue. I actually had to take it apart 3 times, re-tighten the screws, finally gently hold the red button with pliers while tightening, and then wait 6 days for it to slowly stop leaking. I doubt the history of loosening during shipping as there was no internal or external damage to the packaging of any of the devices. Since this is obviously a known issue and other reviews have mentioned leaks multiple times, I expected this issue to be fixed a long time ago. Come on iSpring put an o-ring in the assembly or something and get rid of this problem once and for all. And by the way, once the solution is worked out, send us all a conversion kit so we don't have to worry about going home with a water leak. My leak was about 2 liters a day.
