If more stars could be given, although my cat is a total nutcase (he doesn't like catnip?! or his giant cat apartment!), who doesn't seem to like it, I love it. I love the way it's built with ground support. I was concerned that my new family member would land face down on the support wire and accidentally tip over or fall off the perch. My apartment has huge floor to ceiling windows (2ft less than 15ft) so I wanted a nice high seat for him to people/creature watch. It's covered with my plants around it and cat grass underneath. My crazy little boy only jumps up when I water my plants - he has a strange fascination with water (where does it come from/did it go? She's gone! What kind of witchcraft is this crazy woman doing? - no matter when I take a bath, He looks like I'll drown if he blinks and I feed him so he can't blink lol). Although he doesn't actually use it, it's really well built, easy to assemble and the suction cups are the coolest/best I've seen. ! I don't know why all things with suction cups aren't this style, I'm not afraid they'll give before I unscrew them. I hope that with a soft bed I can convince His Royal Highness to use it. because it's really wonderful. The carpet must be strong enough. I'm not worried about the bed slipping when he jumps up/down. If your kitty loves looking out the window and you're looking for one to try, this is a great option! If the kitty doesn't like it the resale price is great (or should be great) based on the looks, build and function (or return it but I'm stubborn and I really like it so I'll give it a shot to force it to use much after the return window).
