This cable fits my Phillips portable car DVD system. My kids kick the wire and it broke the original cable. This was a great replacement (I couldn't find it at Radio Shack). The connection at one end is a bit fragile, meaning it won't slide all the way into the DVD player. So when I paste it I have to feel the right place to connect. But that wasn't a problem. In summary, this cable helped me keep my aftermarket car DVD player system running after my kids broke it. The whole installation is much more economical, and even if I have to replace the entire system, it's still only a small part of the pre-installed systems.
