I bought several of these brackets after very laborious research because the do-it-yourselfer only specifies the electrical distribution box as the basic interface. It's difficult to find the right mount when you need a universal mount for the most popular brands of cameras on the market. I even spent an extra $50 on a GeoVision mount to see if it could be used on an electrical junction box. It's a waste of money but a necessary learning curve. If your basic interface is an electrical connection, this is what you need. The camera can be mounted at either end, with the holes already matching most of the base of the cylindrical camera.
