If you are new to stamping, do not recommend it. It is a little different from normal stamping varnish. It should be very thin, so you'll need to clean it several times before touching it. Put very little on the plate. The tape doesn't come off either. I had to use an alcohol pad to remove it from the stamp. You could get two stamps if you had too much polish on your plate. I also found that I didn't have to clean my plate after each collection. It took me about 45 minutes to figure it out, but once I did I was blown away. They make sharp lines, great colors and you cure them in 30 seconds! It took me a minute to get comfortable but once I did I was so glad I tried them!
