Review on Red SOLOCOTE Windproof Outwear for Boys Ages 7-8 - Heavyweight SW18018 by Justin Reese

We live on the plains, so we have winter. But we get a winter with WHILING winds 90% of the time. So winter coats have to withstand moisture, cold and wind. From the inside, this coat does EXACTLY that. The inner lining is flannel, so it's warm and retains heat well. The filling is thick, very warm and forms an excellent barrier to protect against cold and body heat. The shell is waterproof and offers excellent wind protection. The zipper and buttons are all good quality and fairly strong/durable. I really can't believe how well this coat performs for the price. The other really important part is washability. Because I have a 12 year old boy who wears this and generally if there is a way to get it dirty he will find it. This coat washes very well and I don't do anything fancy. Regular wash and tumble dry. I use Spray N Wash to apply it around cuffs, zippers, etc before throwing it in the wash. I bought it in yellow and had no problem keeping it looking brand new despite being a lighter colour. Really can't say enough good things about it. Definitely 5 STARS!
