My original review was of a unit that put out 12.55 volts which did not please me but would not force me to return the item. It always bothered me that the cable end on the wall had two prongs and something was dangling from the wall. The end of the 12v cable is a bit short and the connector that gets stuck in it doesn't seem to go all the way in. Last night the AC end came out of the wall opening with a simple and careful random tug. on the cable, and that shut down my entire astro imaging system, which included a running PC and a host of other devices and programs. To be honest, I don't understand why it isn't 3-wire like many other cables, and I don't understand why polarity isn't important with this unit - you can plug it into the wall either way. I am returning the device.
