All in all this seems like a good idea - a binder for storing lots of CDs or DVDs. You'd think this would free up storage space by eliminating a few drawers. However, from the first application it becomes clear that this product does not make any sense at all. It is weak, cannot stand up when there is a large number of discs in it, and the ring mechanism itself breaks very easily. I bought this folder to store a large number of Blu-ray discs, but not anywhere near the 272 limit. However, when I first opened it, one of the metal pieces in the top ring was broken, rendering it unusable . I requested a replacement and received it very quickly - that was the only good thing about the whole experience. The replacement was intact, but when I tried to use it I found a bunch of bugs. First, the actual capacity isn't 272 disks as advertised. In fact, it can only hold about 200 discs. Second, when the folder is full, it's almost impossible to keep it upright without wanting to tip over. You'd think it's designed to stand upright and not tip over. I resorted to flat laying, which revealed another disadvantage of her - the coverage. When the binding is laid flat the front cover will not stay in place. It will fall to the left towards the spine. It's either a design issue or a construction issue - I'm not sure which. So if you lay it horizontally, it tends to open up. This does not free up disk space; In fact, it will occupy the same space as the number of cases it should replace. Third, the cover gives the impression that you can insert front, back, and spine images to customize the binding. In practice, however, it is almost impossible to insert any paper into the spine, but only smaller paper can be inserted into the front and back covers with some difficulty. The clear plastic sits so tightly on the lid that inserting objects is difficult at best and not really worth trying. Overall, for the value and what it promises, this folder is not worth the time and money. I really regret the purchase, I will not buy something like this again.
