I've wanted a kitchen scale for decades but the price made me order an Elekcity kitchen scale. Now after using it I can say that it is indeed a very good investment. I haven't had this device in a very long time and haven't actually tested it, but for example today I wanted to fix a recipe that called for a pound and a half of ground beef. My supermarket only carried packaged ground beef in quantities ranging from just under a pound to just over. So to fix the recipe, I had to weigh a 1.5 pound hamburger from two packages myself and freeze the rest. After reading the instructions (note: the print is rather small and I needed a magnifying glass) I was able to reach my desired weight with little effort. I have no hesitation in recommending Elekcity scales. I love it.
