In the end they fit perfectly with what I bought them for: you are not allowed to get face piercings in medical institutions but you can wear clear retainers if they are invisible and have them served its purpose! Some of the ends are a bit sharp (in the shape of an L) but overall I'm very happy with them and haven't had any issues with them falling out.
