The lighter colors are minimally see through and definitely require a nude underwear. I do think these would be ok for basic use but not for working out. I just finished my first workout in them and you can see the sweat stains even in the black ones so I couldn't imagine how bad they would be in a lighter color. With that said I'm pretty disappointed that these are advertised for working out which is what I bought them for because they are not sweat proof at all. Therefore, if that's want you want to buy them for, I don't recommend this product. However, The fit is true to size. They are very soft and don't cause chaffing when doing high activity.
