*** The update is not as fast as the original that came with my Pixel 2. They are faster than normal charging cables. Not sure if it's a cake or an adapter or both, but it's not that fast. Still a good replacement for other rooms. I deducted a star from my original rating. I bought it to have some extra chargers around the house. It's frustrating to be in a room when your phone shows a low battery notification and there's no charger or outlet nearby. They charge my phone quickly, the connections were solid and everything works fine. I have no problems with overheating or their inoperability. The only thing I noticed, and I don't know if it's a bad thing or not, is that the cable isn't that thick. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the original cable that came with my Google Pixel 2 phone, but works just as well. They are great, I've been using them for a couple of weeks. I like that I don't have to put my phone somewhere else to charge it. (where I could have forgotten about that.) Great value for money.
