I have to admit that I didn't read the product description before buying and I didn't read any reviews. These sheets were delivered very quickly (1 star), they are really very soft (1 star), they are EXCEPTIONALLY THIN as described in the product description, which makes them breathable (not cheap) (1 star). When I started reading other reviews, others mentioned the bad smell and quality after washing the sheets as described. After my husband and I enjoyed the softness, I loaded them into the ONE washing machine on the gentle cycle. I say "alone" because I can imagine that washing a silk blouse with jeans is not the best combination and not a good result. However, the sheets were washed well and NEVER had an unpleasant odor. (1 star) What I noticed after washing was that the fitted sheet had a few scraps of thread which, if not trimmed off immediately, could cause the seams to unravel. I clipped these vagrants, examined each line, and was perfectly satisfied. I also have a king-size pillowtop mattress and these sheets fit great. (1 star) With that said, if they sleep on it tonight or fall apart as several others have complained then and only then will I reconsider my review. As for me, I'm looking forward to sleeping on these sheets tonight. And if this review does not need to be completed in the morning. I will buy another set.
