Good gift for beginners
The pot has a small opening making it difficult to stir AND see and harder to clean. It is very difficult to have a thermometer there. The wick tends to tunnel, so they're only good for things no wider than a vow, MAYBE a post. The colors are beautiful, just need the right temperature and a little stirring. That's a good cheap start, but you'll need upgrades or something better if you plan on making candles for a while.
